I Miss My Parents More than Ever

I dunno if its the hormones going berserk again or is it because I’m ordered to stay at home by the doctor for gestational hypertension – because for some reason, I’m missing my parents so much. Especially my mom. I get so jealous when I see my husband or his cousins hug and banter with their parents. How I wish I could hug my folks, especially my mom right now. She gives the best hugs. šŸ˜¦ How I wish we could email ourselves to anyone miles and miles away so that we can spend some time with them even just for a while. Hopefully, they check their emails often. :p

Now for the lighter side of things. I chatted with my dad last night and its amazing how a couple of minutes and a lot of typing can uplift one’s spirit. I could really feel his excitement to be a grandparent for the first time.

Daddy (5/3/2006 11:45:51 PM): okey anak, catch you later
Daddy (5/3/2006 11:46:02 PM): goodnight, pati kay pau and elise
Aiza Tancinco-Bautista (5/3/2006 11:46:12 PM): okay grandpa
Aiza Tancinco-Bautista (5/3/2006 11:46:23 PM): love you po
Daddy (5/3/2006 11:46:30 PM): i like that sound

He keeps on bugging me to follow doctors orders up to the last letter and take my medicines religiously. Thanks, Dad, for being there for us. You and mom both. Miss you all so much! HUUUGGG!!

Congratulations to my cousin, Kuya Noel and his wife, Luzel (in Arkansas) who gave birth to a 6-pound baby cutely named Haley Reese last April 18. She’s got the same birthday as celebrity couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter, Suri. Haley looks so much like my cousin. šŸ˜€
Here are pictures of the new dad and his baby.

Wooohoo, so cute!!

Here’s what my dad had to say about the pictures:
Daddy (5/3/2006 11:19:24 PM): i mean pogi naman pala, so pogi din anak niya
Aiza Tancinco-Bautista (5/3/2006 11:19:31 PM): eh girl yun eh, dapat maganda

Haha, that’s what my dad has to say to his grand-niece….sooo mean…. :p
